That right there is why people aren't taking what you say seriously. Good is a completely subjective measurement.

Skyrim was a revolutionary experience for its time.

And I think Skyrim was a regressionary experience, even for its time. The previous games in the franchise were far above it in every regard besides visuals and combat (the physical action of combat, NOT the way combat stats are handled).

I don't know why anyone would assume a company that has always delivered on their single player experience

Because A LOT of people do not agree with you that they have delivered on their single player experience. At least not at the caliber of their previous titles.

It's fine if you enjoy Skyrim, you are allowed to. I had fun playing the game and mess around modding with it still today. But to sit there and say other people's subjective views are objectvely wrong is just ridiculous.
