What's your argument for prioritizing you over the homeless people and vets all over the country?

Your situation is a situation I'm all too familiar with as I came from a third world country where some days we got by borrowed rice from neighbors and salt for a meal for the whole day. Our situation was actually decent compared to the others in the country. Corruption ran rampant. Syndicates ran the country. Jobs were scarce and paid an equivalent of 2 USD per day. Why does the USA have to burden the consequences of your state's corruption and environment?

Do you think the US should do the same for other countries in a similar state as yours, shall you be granted residency on the basis of the current situation?
