Why I'm Still Mormon - counter meme. Good? Bad? Discuss.

My belief was based on the actions of the founders of the church. A belief in the divinity of their words. A belief based on spiritual confirmation that they were and still are gods mouthpiece, even if dead. Learning that they made mistakes as men is not a problem. It’s learning that that spoke as the mouthpiece of god, things that are not considered to be from god any more by their modern counterparts.

Asking for specifics will bring the ban hammer down on me. But if I must, the race issues that the other poster mentioned is the obvious example. This begs the obvious question: who can you trust if not the words of the prophet when HE says “I speak the words of god”? Only to be disavowed by later prophets.
