I'm thinking about becoming a straight male escort on the side. Is there anything I should know?

Actually I want to beg to differ. While here in California, I know people that are straight male escorts, who's clients are often men. This is very common in San Francisco, a lot of professional male tend to just want to hang out or spend time with someone. Women tend not to seek out SW's in general, but you could advertise "seeking companionship" or something along the same lines.

Escorting doesn't always mean sex. And yes you're going to be confronted with gay men. But it doesn't mean that you need to have sex.

This can really only work if you're really good at conversation and have great interpersonal skills, tho. If you're just in it because you think you're great at sex, you will both fail with female and male clients.

I can't stress enough that escorting is not just sex, you really need to be a therapist, a best friend, and sometimes a fuck buddy. But if you don't have goals or an interesting personality, and you can't discuss anything with them, you'll fail ultimately.

I will say it is possible to be a male escort but you need to be willing to be with gay men for friendship or go search for female clients. To be an escort, you will need to be open to things but also know you're boundaries. You don't want to have sex with men? Then don't, but be willing to talk to them, engage into conversations and have a great time with them. Maybe lead them on a bit, but you really don't have to have sex with them. It's just going to be realistic that most of your clients will be men.

Talked a lot but hope it makes sense! LMK if you need help. I'm an 18 year old female currently living near Silicon Valley with a lot of experience and great networking with university / college aged SW's.
