I completely agree with the black lives matter crowd being in the same criticism boat as the lgbt movement. They use very similar tactics (because if we are honest both groups are being used by the politically correct movement) the difference is the lgbt fellows are much better all around for their plight. They're more organised strategic and skilled all around. They don't start riots at the drop of a hat/otherwise act like fools undermining their cause. Because of this fact it's much easier for a politician/director (what I consider the PC movement people using these things to gain power/money/influence from them) looking for votes/views from that group of people to embrace them. You end up with a symbiotic relationship between the leaches (political/social/commercial) and the down-trodden/oppressed. They're just separate heads of the same problem. The media circle jerk/one sided polarized news reporting that goes on serves to divide people into an us versus then dynamic leaving those in influence (many of these are the same people spearheading "freedom" and "equality") free to rape democracy. Any opposition is a bigot/racist.

It's a direct parallel to the national socialist partys takeover of Germany. They set up a boogyman (the Jews) and portrayed Joe blow German citizen as the victim of financial warfare then they escilate Germany was financially bankrupt from world war I people were very angry and the Nazis directed that rage to their goals. Am I saying we're on a path for genocide? No; I am however saying we're playing perfectly into the hands of those in power and they will use this opportunity to pass laws and forward their agendas in ways that won't be apparent until a couple decades go by and it's too late. As it is America is the land of the brave home of the chattle one nation under CCTV. We're on the fast track to a nanny state with the power to be more invasive then any political power has ever been.

You think millennials are naïve? Honestly I think as a whole my generation is just pathetic more than naïve. We're the t-ball generation. Show up to a game and don't keep score. What you didn't do the work? You actually really suck? That's OK you get a trophy, your entitled. You deserve it great job. Is it egalitarianism that's causing out country to shift to communism or desperation?

I completely agree with you on just about everything you said in this paragraph about my generation the bitching, Bernie Sanders, feels over reality, depression, suicidal tendencies (i would add drug abuse and laziness) I would add that all of these things are symptoms of a very sick society. Also they aren't caused by magic they're caused by mediocrity, apathy and a since of powerless and hopelessness that you could only really appreciate as a 30 year old living with mommy and daddy working a job that pays a buck over minimum wage. I read a quote from a Chuck Phalaniuk book a few years back that struck a chord with me. "Were the middle children of history, man. No purpose, no place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War’s a spiritual war… our Great Depression is our lives. We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won’t. And we’re slowly learning that fact. And we’re very, very pissed off." I feel like this encompasses my generation only they're all so incompetent and foolish they feel like they can legislate feelings into laws.

I find it really interesting you perceive my thread as an attempt to actually change anything. You are quite right if I don't like something on TV I shouldn't watch it. What you are °180 wrong about is my reasoning for posting. I expect no change, no accommodation. The fact is im a flippant antagonistic sob who loves arguing and playing the devil's advocate. I can't stress how insincere I am. I do like your advice though. I think I'll stick my head in the sand where TV is concerned and just go read a book.
