I'm so tired of seeing plastic surgery everywhere

I honestly see beauty influencers the same way I see models in an ad campaign: it's not real.

There are plenty of documentaries, articles, and videos on how models don't even look like models once their pictures and videos go through editing and a lot of famous models have been outed by magazines for getting cosmetic procedures. Just like how there are plenty of videos on how YouTubers don't even look like YouTubers once you take away the blurring lenses, perfecting filters, and their cosmetic proceduers.

I totally get why it can be dangerous to young and impressionable teenagers because I myself felt I was supposed to look perfect like a celebrity (influencers weren't really known to me about like, 5 years ago) and was very discouraged I had redness and acne (which I still do have as an adult.) Which is why I think they need to be educated on the behind the scenes stuff. Nobody is perfect, you can have access to Jeffree Star and Tati level skincare and still have imperfections, which I think needs to be brought to younger people's attention more.

Sorry for the giant blob of words, I just feel like education on the industry is key to solving the problem.
