I'm a tradie and I visualised my past year's Google location history in the form of a heatmap. Here's how it looks.

I wake up about 8 times a night, which I’ve become accustomed to. The problem is when i can’t fall right-back asleep after a wake up.

I can’t sleep with music or tv.. can’t sleep when my partner snores.. sometimes can’t sleep when they breath heavily.. or generally breath. I pick up on a sound and I can’t fall asleep.

If I hear a drip or a creek or a one off noise, I’ll stay awake waiting for the next time it happens.

Best thing that has helped me is a fan, so I’m assuming a constant white noise is the solution.

It’s definitely mental because most times it’s bad is when I’m not doing the best. When I’m doing better, I tend to have less issues. Fan nights are the best nights.

It’s just convincing my girlfriend during winter to have a fan in the room. Spoiler: I don’t get to have a fan in the room in winter.
