I'm trying to understand why people pray to baby Jesus

Ok, thanks for the discussion.

FYI...for everyone reading.

Dating the Bible; Table IV, the New Testament

What Christians know to be the "Gospel Truth" is a group of 27 books that were written by Polytheists at the time of Roman rule...125 - 400 years after Jesus. This is why the entire NT is written in Greek, cuz the fragments were written by Romans. Every NT bible that's ever been published is founded on these fragments.

Table IV, the left side dates are speculative as to when the originally authored texts MAY have been written. But nobody knows for sure because not a single originally authored text has ever been found. They haven't even found a copy in Aramaic or Hebrew.

The far right side dates are of the earliest known fragments which range from 125 CE to 400 CE. So while John might be the earliest known papyri at 125 - 160 CE, there might only be 10,000 copies of the original in circulation. But the earliest known fragment would be the 10,001 edition that was written in a completely different language.

Christianity as a whole is founded on books that were written hundreds of years after Jesus....so soak that in for a bit and do some homework. Thoroughly research the origins of Christianity first before assuming that what you've been taught to believe is even true?
