I hope venting here helped., but I think you're taking it harder than you should.

It wasn't directed at you, or because of you. She doesn't know what it takes from your end. She's not that way particularly with you - she's that way in many other areas of her life.

But, in the bigger picture, just realize she's not going to be the last under-appreciative player. (I've had a half dozen.)

And, personally, having experienced that exact same thing, I don't work that hard to get someone in to the hobby anymore. The 'lifers' all instantly take to it like a drug, and don't require any of that hand-holding.

Sounds like the other three are bought in, though. Have fun running the game with them!
