Why am I not freaking out.

I think because I find Female to be a fine way to refer to innie things and Male to be a fine way to refer to outtie things, when paired and contrasted.

I'm astronomically irresponsible with finances. (The first time I ever got a credit card I just spent the limit on a car stereo and hooded sweatshirts and such. I then lost it and forgot about it. And what's really neat is when they found me years later and wanted to collect they were happy to settle for half the amount outstanding! wew.)

I mentioned this because I have been asking the person who does the shopping and financial stuff around here to grab me w couple 1/8" male-to-male audio patch cables, a few times over the last week.

Not once, did it occurr to me that I might be misgendering a cable, or anything remotely like that.

I literally can't even. I tried, when I saw it first, over there. That was my first reaction like "what mindset and perspective does this view come from? What was the writer thinking. <try to put self in others shoes to understand>" But I quickly realized that that tactic would get me nowhere.

I think GC attracts a lot of deeply troubled mentally ill people whose thinking is often tainted by cognitive biases. Additionally I find there is an overwhelming sense of irresponsibility among GC in regard to intellectual honesty and integrity. They're not really adverse to such fallacious argumentation.

Like Putin's propaganda agencies, GC don't care if people find out they are liars, as long as they're able to sow their toxic seeds of queerphobia and transphobia, before that happens.

Additionally I get the impression that they consider r/GC to be some kind of pinnacle of autodidactic achievement, so I think there may be other intellectual (and also moral) obstacles being faced by many GC women.
