Imagine an

Y'know, i've often fantasized about a skyrim where each hold was basically as large as skyrim is now. Especially because exploring is one of my favorite things to do. Combine it with survival mods without fast travel, and exploration would become an even more interesting and tense experience, since you would have to plan out your journey and resources and all that shit becaus it would probably take actual days irl to get anywhere. Furthermore, it would be great if the cities (especially ones like Solitude) were actually huge and loaded with npcs.

But all this is beyond what the engine can handle, obviously. I mean, forget about compatibility for a second; I'd be surprised if vanilla quests could handle it. Like the civil war is glitchy in the base game, can't imagine the nightmare it would be with a super sized skyrim. But it's fun to think about.

I imagine as more and more of the Beyond Skyrim project comes out, it will scratch that exploration itch I first mentioned, except you'll be traveling across Tamriel instead of just Skyrim. Which is even better, because each province is so different. So that's exciting. Hope their cities (at least ones like the Imperial City) are a bit beefier than vanilla's, especially because they have SSE's superior setup to take advantage of.
