I don't base my upvotes off other people, I just had a different idea of what it meant, think about it this way, if it was a choice, why would one hide their score?
I worry about the second one more than anything, I don't wanna upvote someone who is hiding his score but might get negative downvotes because of what a shit person he is in other threads. If I saw a funny post like that with 50 downvotes, I would not upvote it but rather ask why it is being downvoted and then someone would explain, "oh this guy is a racist piece of shit who constantly spouts anti asian shit around reddit, this is just a rare occasion of him not being racist" and I would change my mind.
If it was the third one, then they don't care about upvotes so whatever.
If it was the first one, you need to be willing to stand through that shit, if you say something others don't agree with you gotta expect they are gonna be mad at you and you gotta take it and push through, you can't just be like "Janna sucks! Don't hate me" Unpopular opinions are fine but own up to it. If I saw someone expressing an unpopular opinion I didn't disagree with, I would upvote them. Support that maybe thinking as an individual is a good thing and just because someone was pick or ban in LCS doesn't mean they deserve to be called top tier.
