Is it immoral to have a kid when you can't afford one?

My brother got a chick pregnant during break up sex.

I love my niece, but she was born into a broken home and her best chance at seeing healthy examples of a loving relationship is me and my girlfriend of 4 years (wow holy shit we’ve been together almost half a decade).

Additionally, my 65+ year old parents now have a 35 year old living with them. They aren’t ever going to enjoy an empty nest.

I think having her was a humongous fucking mistake, but I love her infinitely. This question is tough because in theory, yes it is immoral, and from the moment I found out he was having a kid I knew it was going to bring a ton of stress and hardship to my family.

But I love my niece to pieces. So idk. Life is really fucking hard and not as black and white as we make it out to be.
