Impacted canine and implant question

thanks for the response. Yeah, it's pricey. For the extraction alone my insurance is already covering 90% and implants are covered up to $750 per calendar year for the process, so if it's broken up like that I might end up with $1500 covered if the whole thing takes more than one calendar year I guess. Ortho is covered 50% up to a limit which helps too.

I guess I may as well just go through with the extraction now if the teeth won't be able to move properly with the impacted tooth still in place and the healing that would need to happen anyways? I'm still going to show the ortho my x-rays to see if he can tell of the status of the bone and if he can accomplish what he needs to, but I guess it's better off just coming out now.

Do you know if my Invisalign treatment would impact -- say, doing a portion of the treatment to get my implant sooner? As in, could I maybe get the bone graft and get that healed up in the middle of my Invisalign treatment, and then the stud before waiting until the end of treatment to get the abutment and crown eventually put it? Or would it all have to wait until the end of the treatment. Again, it's something I'm going to run through with my orthodontist when I see him Tuesday, but just looking to see other opinions and general input I guess.

Thanks again.
