I think there’s one thing you mentioned that I will counter because I think we agree rather than disagree on this specific point. I don’t point out the realities of context to be “doom and gloom” but to address it. The term “radical hope” is the reason I do what I do. I think you might connect with this yourself - hopeful in the face of doom and gloom narratives.

Writing about radical hope, I just want to leave you with this quote in the hope it helps spur you on:

We are what we are. We have our limits. We have our tragedies. We have our happiness. Yet, on the other hand, we can’t just sit there. We have to take up our possibilities.
