"improving the world"

Yeah, you are definitely correct in that. It would take novel, not before undetaken levels of effort. Every individual who wanted to help effect such a thing would have to reorientate their life's work, bascially.

However, at the same time, I think that we are in a very unique position right now, such that the seeds that this generation is able to lay into the unfolding of human history stand to be able to strongly affect the course of things as our species heads off into the transformative event of going into the anthropocene and the next centuries and millenium.

I've been working on something for some time now. It's a distillation of somebodies work which I've read and found that, if any generation where to be up for such an undertaking, than this work has laid out the principles by which that may be done, and they may find it highly workable, should sufficient amounts of people reorientate themselves to educate themselves in and act from the idea. I don't mean to be cryptic about it, but I have to present it all at once to where the real case can be made.

I think that, if human history has proven anything, it is that focused human endeavor can acheive amazing results on our little planet. I would argue that similar things have already been accomplished. And I would argue that there exists a truly large number of existent but latent potentials of people who are already down with such a cause. And finally also that the coming eventualities that will occur in the coming decades, (the intensification of climate change, amomg others), and especially over the course of the next century that we will be alive, will be enough of an impetus and urgency causer that will and manpower would not be a problem, provided someone could formulate an elegant enough solution for the matter and spread that seed into enough people's minds.
