Hmm, you refrence surface of the least contact as a guidline of proper gun handling. And there is a point to that in how touch was constructed.
But personally if i see the gun i much prefer to hafe touch grip angle to reflect the gun grip angle otherwise it feels odd to me.
I prefer to have differences between guns to be reflected in different way i hold them.
I understand that when the gun is closest to the design of touch it's best for comfort and the immersion. But I think guns(especially fictional) should be changed to reflect that not having a different hand pose IRL and in VR.
I much prefer the way H3VR treats guns and grips.
So for a fast pace shooter sure some wiggle room to make comfortable is ok but if you alter it too much it doesn't feel ok even if it's at a comfortable angle.
