Global pollution is driven almost entirely by Western consumption. Im sure you're seconds away from screaming abour China but the only reason their emissions are so high (and still lower per capita then Canada) are because theyre manufacturing things for foreign consumers.

The idea that a group of people who pollute exponentially more then another should get a pass because "in total its less" is ridiculous.

The only reason China pollutes so much is because of Western Consumers. Per Capita pollution shows us just who is driving that consumption and as a result, the pollution.
