India emerging as front-runner in fight against climate change: World Bank

I have zero problem with India increasing its emissions because it is the most cost efficient means of growth. I disagree with the claim that India is doing more than other countries to fight climate change when their rate of emissions are on the rise while other countries like the U.S. fell by 3%.

I also disagree with your claim that India is unable to raise it's standard of living unless it produces 4x as much pollution as the U.S. India has access to a highly efficient form of energy.... nuclear power.

But instead everyone is backing a country that denies access to electricity to it's citizens due to a hereditary caste system.

Could you imagine if the U.S. denied access to electricity to black people? That's what India does to the Dalits.

So while everyone here is claiming India is doing great things, I see a racist culture denying access to people born into the wrong family who is increasing its emissions and claiming it's to help the very people they wouldn't piss on if they were on fire.
