Indiana Jones is a film character that first appeared in the 1981 film, "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS USER. He just deleted his last identical post in this sub because he got called out for his regular BS:

THIS IS AN ALT OF /u/c111tla.

He is a well-known attention whore and troll. He only makes these intentionally provocative posts to try and get attention. Don't feed him. Just downvote and move on.

When people have the audacity to comment on how ridiculous the idea of his posts are (or otherwise call him out on his behavior), if he hasn't seen you before you'll get some variant of "I thought my question was reasonable" and "do you hate me?" and “your comment hurts me” to make efforts at getting more attention. If you're lucky you'll get accusations like "why are you implying I'm stupid?" or "useless?" or "dumb?" Sometimes he'll just outright say that you called him something you didn't, usually "psychopath." If the comments calling him out get upvoted (and when his get downvoted) he will complain about that too.

He got upset about being called out so often so he took a break from his main Reddit account, thinking he could lay low for a while and then come back and immediately launch into the same old attention-whoring bullshit. Except he has been using this account instead. (At least one other known alt is /u/Time_Media_287.)

Most of the troll bait is usually directed toward movie subs. For example, going into movie and character/genre subs and asking ridiculous questions based on obviously stupid notions, such as going into /r/batman and asking:

There is this movie from 2005 called, "Batman Begins". I think it's a really well-done film. It tells the story of Batman's origins. Ot features some of the villains from the comic books, such as Scarecrow or Ras'al'Ghul.

I really like this film, I believe it's really a fine piece of work.

Have you heard of/seen this film? What did you think of it?

Or, in /r/IndianaJones:

Or, in /r/ChristopherNolan:

And while almost always having recently discovered these movies and then "educating" the masses like it's some obscure work:

More often than not, he will clickbait his post titles to get you to click on it by not actually mentioning the name of the film in the title:

Or asking ridiculous questions and making insane comments about massively popular movies and actors:

Then there's the totally inane attention trolling/whoring:

Posting to /r/askitaly:

Am I likely to be beaten up in Italy if I go there alone and try to talk to people?

I am just kind of anxious if I am going to get beaten up, raped, robbed, and drowned naked, if I go to Italy as a foreigner and start talking to people...

Others:

Have a look at some of the replies people have made to this person's posts. You'll see a pattern.

  • OP is either a troll or the biggest socially inept moron I've ever seen on Reddit, and that's saying something. He just doesn't stop.

  • Is this a serious question?

  • Don't feed the troll...

  • Shut up Troll.

  • Clickbait post.

  • Guys we can’t let him win… do not feed this trashy ass bait!!!!

  • "Have you ever heard of/seen this film?" It is widely considered to be one of the best movies ever made. I almost thought you were joking until the end. Also, I like how you call him "Roberto" De Niro and then explain who he is, as if he isn't one of the most influential actors ever

  • That was a major film and this is a Batman subreddit. I honestly don't know if you're serious or are a troll.

  • OP is a habitual troll.

Peruse the user’s post history. There are MANY other examples of this behavior, as well as the people recognizing it. You will also see a pattern of many posts being removed for this reason. (Particularly in /r/movies because they have caught on to his bullshit. Not sure why he hasn’t been banned outright.)

Many questions are repeat posts despite getting many answers previously, such as asking if “Raiders of the Lost Ark” is obscure. Because it’s not about the questions, it’s about the attention. He rarely replies to the people offering actual thoughts on the content of the post, he only ever replies to people calling him out for his crap. Because it’s about the attention. He desperately needs the attention.

He blocks accounts that call him out so they can no longer warn other users of his nonsense. He will also delete the posts on which these comments appear so the call-outs aren’t seen by other people looking at his post history.
