The world is a scary place for our kids. My worst fear is that my kids turn into what’s wrong with this world. I’ve decided to start homeschooling as a part of it. I’ll do all I can to raise my children right (while obviously allowing things like extra curriculars, sports, etc). I won’t let them be so influenced by the world. I probably shelter my kids a little more than I should in some ways (homeschooling, not letting them know how bad some things are like school shootings) and a little less than I should in other ways (I’m more lenient on video games and if they ask a question, it gets answered as best I can without it being too graphic ie. ‘how are babies made?’). They’re only 7 and 1 at the moment though.
