There is no point in doing LIMBO.
ZERO!
Here is why.
There are no boss specific uniques and/or artifacts that will drop from them. Why? Well according to Ryolnir it's because it's a timed event and they didn't want to slow us down picking up loot....yet they have Eternity Splinters drop for us....
Last time I checked picking up splinters versus an item that actually benefits the player took the same exact amount of time.
This leads me to believe the real reason there are no boss drops is because of either laziness or them rushing Limbo and it not being really finished.
Secondly, they defend having to do Limbo because at the end you get a loot explosion!!! Well, I have news for you....it's a bad one. I've got nothing but green insigs, relics, or runes.
The Devs say the real reward comes from the quest you get from completing Limbo. But is it really that rewarding? First off, you waste 10 minutes running Limbo. Then, depending on the quest you get, you'll be spending another 10-30min completing it for a chance of getting 2-4 coffers.
What do these coffers have in them? Well they have a couple of new items that have been spoiled, you can get upgrade tokens, or (and this is what will most likely happen) you get an assortment of shit items.
Riddle me this...why would you ever add worthless shit any-hero uniques and horrible cosmic medallions that no one uses to the loot table of these boxes?
I ran limbo 5 times, completed the quest 5 times...got about 15 boxes total and out of those I got 10 Cosmic Medallions that were total trash, 2 crappy any-hero uniques, 1 upgrade token and 1 new unique ring.
If you're going to add Cosmic Medallions, at least only add the good ones to the loot table like Cosmic Hulk, Doom, Sauron, Wizard, Spider Clone, Lizard, Redskul...you know...the GOOD ONES!
To be honest, this was poorly executed and I would have rather had ARMOR event.
As it stands, LIMBO is worthless. I mean, why not just give people a repeatable quest like Dailies for the coffers and not force us to run a zone that has no actual droppable rewards? It makes ZERO SENSE!
I'd tell you to just farm CMM, but they broke the loot table in Midtown. Insigs and cores are not dropping. GG
I'm done playing for today and probably the weekend unless they fix this shit. It's a joke.
