INFJ Villains?

Maleficent

If we look at the forest as being her inner self you will see that at the time of birth or her early stages of life the nature of the forest is bright, full, beautiful, open, and has an aura of comfort.

When she is betrayed you can see the forest (inner self) change ", she withdraws emotionally, becomes dark. I'm sure you have heard of "door slams" and I think it relates to that idea, to the person who has done the act of betrayal it seems like darkness has swallowed up the person they knew.

Let us look at her plan for revenge. I can relate to her style as whenever I think of revenge, the betrayer has to suffer as much as possible. If they were to die a quick death, they have suffered nothing but a peace of deep sleep. She places a curse on the child of the betrayer, making sure he knows that after his suffering to which seems like forever, his offspring will be suffering for the entirety of it's life as well. We think towards the future and the image that comes to mind is his last few breathes he would have the knowledge of this curse and agonize as he lays dieing knowing there is no happiness.

Now, let's look at what she does and how she interacts with the child. If you watched the movie or if you plan on watching, just look at that Fe in play, it's as clear as you can possibly get. She may say to herself "I can't let the child die, after all I went through the trouble of putting the curse on it". Her heart and actions are saying a very different story "I will not let this helpless baby die, I wish there was another way." and eventually making it her mission to make sure the child grows up and able to attain happiness.

There's plenty more you can pull out from the movie and relate back to the personality theory type infj. This is an amateur observation =p.
