Inflation, housing costs more important to Ontario voters than COVID: poll

When I was searching for homes we were outbid by pension funds, numbered corporations who had earmarked over 120 detached homes in the region, and asshole investors(absentee landlords) from Toronto. Less than a week after we bought, we had an asshole from Toronto (lamented that he couldn’t be a absentee landlord) offer us $50,000 over asking before we could even take the sold sign down. Mind you, we don’t mind getting a ridiculous amount of housing affordability refugees just up and moving here from the GTA to start families, they’re making our property values soar and honestly revitalizing our communities. I don’t blame them though: Imagine owning a 4 bedroom detached for 1/3 the price of a coffin condo with maintenance fees? Literally just head North before even more people catch on.
