I haven't personally seen a patient in the last 2 months but I DO know many Doctors who have difficulty recognizing Immunological cascades (Usually one who forgoes a differential diagnosis) and blame infections and load patient with Antibiotics. (Monoclonal Antib. are notorious for causing this) - when the culprit is in reality a systems reaction event. Cases in Italy it are pretty compelling that this has been the case as well as China --cue the videos of people literally falling face down dead on the ground while walking. I can't name a single provably infectious vector with an incubation period more rapid THAN an immunological event explanation. The NIH has published a veritable avalanche of Med Journal cautionary papers regarding severe immunological cascade events in Avian flu, SARS, COVID-19, H1N1 and in (insert favorite VIRUS name du-jour here) INCLUDING: 1918. Report your findings --as they have-- to a journal and get it published. Here's just a quickie sample of articles. If you've watched a patient in the throes of Steven's Johnson syndrome you know this can happen within hours. This type of event has been described in numerous cases already in COVID-19.
