Inherency T block for the Aff in Sept/Oct topic?

Okay then we may have to continue tomorrow.

There's no distinction. Nontopical is nontopical

If that's the case then your point goes away. If the case is topical it's topical. OP thinks it's topical so I take that at face value.

I don't know why you keep insisting that I argue with you about the dank T args you came up with but I guess I'll respond.

"ought to be"... generally accepted to mean a shift from the squo

I have no idea if it is. Now that I think about it doesn't strike me as true. Let's say the statement "Murder ought to be abhorred" is true right now, in a world where at least some people don't find it abhorrent. Does that statement suddenly become false if 100% of people find murder abhorrent so that it doesn't describe any shift from the status quo? I don't think so.

"national service"... mass noun

To be honest I hadn't heard of this before but now that I'm looking at what a mass noun is I don't think it is one. Why do you think it is one? What linguistic tests are you applying?

OP believes that their aff is topical under common interps, but clearly not under the most common usage of Nebel T, which is 'spec bad.'

Oh so you're a mind-reader? Nebel T != "spec bad" even if people misuse it like they misuse everything else. Especially since this is one of those topics where traditional plans very plausibly affirm. E.g. it might be read better as existential rather than generic. So even if OP doesn't know what this means this isn't an insurmountable argument to answer.
