It’s human instinct to reproduce and we also have laws in place around that.

Your argument is very weird. People are told how to be free, by not breaking the law. The human instinct is applied to that. If someone wants to be free, then they don’t break the law.

Just like if people want to reproduce. They are told the rules and it can be done without breaking the law.

There are obvious nature and nurture factors that humans have that can hinder both. I don’t know why we should only apply the rules in place to one.

I also don’t believe it’s right or wrong to pick either side of punishing or not, but to act like it is crazy is very weird to me.
