Innocent woman forcibly stripped by male Ohio police officers and left nude in a jail cell for SIX HOURS.

Of course your father will tell you his heroic stories. Do you seriously think that your dad would have told you about any wrong doing that he may have participated in? Has your dad written any letters to the FOP stating that they should increase officer accountability? Has he ever been a little rougher than necessary? Has he ever witnessed a cop speeding? Did he give that cop a ticket? Has he ever cut a break for someone because he knew their family was LEO? Have you ever been cut a break because you were LEO's family? Has he ever participated in civil forfeiture or no-knock warrants? Has he ever given someone a hard time just because they tried to assert their civil rights? Has he ever given someone a speeding ticket on a road that he drives the same speed on?

My point is that your father has likely done some shitty things at some point in their career (it's almost impossible for a cop not to). That's the problem. If he's not ACTIVELY trying to get the FOP to increase accountability, then he is ACTIVELY aiding the bad cops. I don't want to insult your family. I'm just saying that your opinion is likely biased and trying to help you understand the point of view of those who are fed up with the type of people that become police officers.
