Innovative games of the past 2-3 years that flew under the radar?

The 7th Continent got a lot of hype while the Kickstarter was going (as they do), but the overall lack of retail presence means this game dropped off the talk pretty soon after the campaign. I'm also personally not one to plug it much since the only place you'll find it out of a reprint campaign (which is what the last one was + an expansion) is in the secondary market.

But if we're talking innovative design, the continent itself is incredible! The way the designers have woven together an entire open world where, yes, you can wander around anywhere you please, but you will die if you can't figure out the riddle to your curse and save yourself. The puzzles are clever, exploration is at a high both for finding your path as well as finding solutions to problems, and the amount of hidden nooks and secrets is staggering. I've only scratched the surface and I'm still in amazement at what they've designed.

It actually won The Dice Tower 2017 award for innovative design. (as I cannot link it here for some reason, here's the link: https://www.dicetower.com/dice-tower-awards/2017 )
