Insane runner up: "teachers don't need a raise because they aren't homeless!"

Are you saying that the average of all public school k-12 teachers in the US is determined by your personal performance? Seriously? Is that what you think "average" means? It seems more reasonable for you to say, "On average, teachers work less than 40 hours per week, but I'm atypical, and my anecdote does not alter the statistical average."

I'm really worried about the impact a teacher who doesn't know what "average" means will have on students. Does your district have a budget for basic literacy training for teachers? Is there a GED program you could enroll in to learn simple vocabulary and arithmetic?

Your apparent emotional state might be hurting your students, also. Do you tell them "Evolution is only a theory"? You seem like the type.
