Inside the confidential NFL meeting to Discuss National Anthem Protests

You find his politics and his socks objectionable, that doesn't mean he should be a pariah. Police shot and kill innocent, unarmed black men. A Pig joke is in poor taste, agree, but the NFL let Greg Fucking Hardy play and he was a violent piece of shit.

You can't blame him for his g/f. I don't recall what he said about Castro, but plenty of Americans find inspiration in the Cuban Revolution. see CHe shirts. Is Castro a worse person than, say, Nixon and Kissinger who murdered millions of Cambodians even when they knew the war was over so they would win in 68? (See Nixon tapes)?

The NFL is taking this hypernationlist approach. Not everyone sees America as a great country right now. We ar the only fucking country that lets people go without health insurance, for fuck's sake. 1 of 34 OECD nations and 33 all have a humane, less expensive health system. 43k die a year as a result. That is worth kneeling for (as is race and police brutality).

AMerica has serious problems. If kneeling helps address them, we should kneel. It is peaceful at least.
