I live in Singapore and people are openly gay here, they have gay bars, bath houses, you name it. There are people here who are prejudiced and a lot of those opinions are coming from being very sheltered growing up, but it's all very, very passive. They might frown or mutter in your direction but everyone is so polite here you're not going to get yelled at or anything.

A couple Christmases ago I went to an xmas party here hosted by my girlfriend's work colleague and his husband at the apartment they own together. People brought their kids, many of the people in attendance were members of a large christian church and every one was totally cool with everything.
