Instacart Business Model: How Instacart Works and Generates Revenue

Good point with that last statement. I think it depends of how many items you have to shop for. If you're doing three orders, frozen stuff may start to thaw. Eating food that was frozen, then thawed, then refrozen poses a very high risk of foodborne illness. Other factors is whether the shopper has insulted bags/coolers in their trunk and whether they bother to remove fridge/freezer items from the bags they were put in at the store and put them in these insulated bags or coolers, then have to rebag them to deliver. Unless, they were bagged sensibly at the store. Some IC shoppers have posted in here that they are frustrated when they are not permitted to bag the orders themselves.

It can be tricky to juggle three orders and keep everything temperature safe. I still think freezer stuff should be grabbed last.
