Installed 100ft Cat5e cable - not getting high speeds

I used this kit from amazon for all the tools, connectors, and cable tester.

I've got that kit and it can get the job done, but it is very cheap. I only needed to crimp one end in my setup (cable that comes out of the ceiling to the AP) and I practiced on some short spare cable. You need to pull down really hard and do it a couple of times to get a good crimp. Pull on the end and if it comes off the cable, it wasn't crimped properly.

Stick a 9V in that tester and put it on both ends of the cable. It will tell you not only if all of the wires were crimped successfully, but also if you have any wires in the wrong order.
