Instead of letting others tell you Keen/Intense, use this spreadsheet to figure it out depending on your personal attributes

1.0009 for quick is wrong because you get attack modifiers from other equipment and it's not as simple as dividing Quick by Intense or whatever.

Real value is around 1.008 because of other gear. This is impossible to get the exact point without separating it out to the individual and it's close enough. If you're going to get this nitpicky over a tenth of a percent, then feel free to update the spreadsheet yourself and include that as a value for use.

Both the charm stats are wrong because they vary according to stamina and class and are not fixed.

Cool, good to know.

0.3 crit damage is never useful, even at 100% crit chance. 0.3/7.68 is 3.9% damage increase which is worse than every other important stat basically.

3.9% damage can be pretty close a single 6% damage roll because of diminishing returns on % damage, but the main thing that makes them close is the ~2% increased base damage on a keen weapon. This was referring to the unrollable line on keen, not as a rollable bottom line.

Carving crystal is universally bad even at around 80% uptime of forceful, and is always worse than pounding, considering you have decent crit rate.

I can show you numbers where Carving trumps Forceful and Pounding. Don't just state things as if they're fact. There's a lot of situations where it's not as good, but stating that it never as good is arrogant.

There is absolutely a way to account for glyphs which completely skews what builds people should go for, and this spreadsheet completely ignores it.

I mentioned that already. There's no easy way at all to break every single skill down into their cooldowns and weigh their damage ratios to the rest of the skills whilst considering differing crit rates. If it's not enough to mention it and bring it into awareness, then feel free to design some way to account for all that instead of pointlessly pushing "irresponsibility" on me.

So while you can be appreciative of their efforts, it doesn't mean you're suddenly right.

I didn't say I was automatically right. I even said to post about anything wrong and if it's worth fixing, then I will.

And posting a new topic with a spreadsheet is just attention calling

Oh sorry, didn't realize a spreadsheet which can account for various players' stats is attention calling. My point is that the other calculations aren't helpful because they choose fixed stats which doesn't accommodate for the majority of players.

prove you are the ultimate source of knowledge, which you aren't.

Ahahahahaha

The other topics appeal to a different audience: people who understand the game maths and know what % backtime and stuff does for you.

People that understand game maths don't need other people to tell them what they already know. The reason they put it up was for people who don't understand it easily and wanted a guideline.

Tossing this out to the general audience while having tons of errors is not the best idea.

  • Less than a tenth of a percent of damage for keen/quick conversion
  • Charms don't give the same power to each class

Tons of errors... ok

As a side note, canephora and bravery multiply, and aren't added to % damage stats.

Thanks for the info
