Insurance scam AGAIN -- and they admitted to the practice

If I give the store the phone then the store is responsible for the phone and its guaranteed to get the deal. That's how an honest company would operate. The employees check for damage. When I traded in my s9 at the store the employee guaranteed that it would be traded in 100 percent and I would get the deal. If the phone gets lost in shipping or damaged its not my problem at that point as I traded the phone in the store.

Maybe people don't buy 256gb devices in store is because the store doesn't sell them. Hard to buy something the store refuses to sell.

If I were to not buy the phone then the store could put it for sale the next day.

Not holding a phone for a few hours till I get off work is unacceptable. I had already been to the store and they didn't have any and you want me to go back to the store another day and waste around an hour round trip in the hopes they will have it after I've already been there once? Wtf? Seriously wtf? I told them call me when you get it in and hold it for me and I will pick up that day before the store closes and that's exactly what I did.
