Intel tried desperately to change the subject from Spectre and Meltdown at CES

Intel vs. AMD is fast becoming the Apple vs Microsoft of our time. That's why it's hard to get a straight answer.

In it's most simpliest form

AMD - Effected by Spectre

Intel - Effected by Meltdown and Spectre

The narrative in the news from Wired to Popular Science to CNBC is to talk about but vulnerabilities as one. The "Spectre and Meltdown Vulnerabilities" This adds to the confusion of the conversation since the two are not the same and Meltdown(The worst one) doesn't effect AMD. But clumping them together makes it seem like AMD is taking just as big a hit as Intel in this ordeal.

Yes, I am anti-Intel and Pro-AMD. I have been long before this issue for reasons regarding Intel being the slow and docile Goliath and AMD being the new scrappy disrupter since they got their new CEO in 2014.
