Sadly monarchism in any form does not have a future in Scotland. The current populist rhetoric that UK bad and EU good certainly isn’t helping but the truth is that the House of Windsor has never been particularly popular in Scotland. This is imo part of the tragedy that was the collapse of the House of Stuart, from the 1800s onwards the monarchy has been intrinsically linked to Englishness and unionism.

FWIW I am pro Independence and my dream would be the reformation of the Kingdom of Scotland as a constitutional monarchy with significant provisions for the regent to check the power of a prime minister. Also I dream that somehow a long lost descendent of the House of Stuart exists and they exhibit everything good that the fictitious legends around Bonnie Prince Charlie and Jacobites entail. Unfortunately this is pure fantasy and it’s only a matter of time before Scotland becomes yer average western republic.
