Liquid obviously have shown a spectacular performance both in the group stages and since the time they fell into LB. It turned out to be sort of rigged though as soon as i figured out their triumph bandwagon over their opponents. First, they took secrekt down by 2-1 and then 2-0 resulted in then once again 2-1, then 2-0 again and judging by that LFY matchup was supposed to end by 2-1 again and IT HAPPENED! When i stressed that point, someone had commented 3-0 for the grand finals. Their prediction came true lol.
On the other hand, LFY literally trampled them in the first game with the help of cheesy sniper pick. Frankly, i quit watching the game when the scoreboard showed up about 2-12 or something in favor of LFY and just took a glance at random times in DotA 2 as soon as the second game was played a little bit. But they somehow achieved to defeat LFY. It could have gone other way so easily. Liquid barely made it to the Grand Finals.
And in Grand Finals, Noobies looked so shaky. Even in the game one, they did not take advantage of a rue hard carry. Rather, they counted on Lina. In that sense, LFY emerged to be much tougher opponent.
all in all, it was the success of wide hero pool. It was the success of not only GH's Shaker but also Mind Control's Furion, Miracle's Alchemist or Masturba's Necro or Kuro's draft perfection.
Liquid heavily implemented the Alliance rat strat to win this TI.
