International TableTop Day Megathread (Apr 15 - Apr 23)

Hey guys! Just an update on my recent post, found here.

Thanks to all of you guys who gave comments on what to play, how to introduce them to this wonderful hobby of ours, and the general encouragement!

During the club fair that we had last week, we had a whopping number of 46 members who joined our office club. Granted, I was thinking maybe at most only 10~ or so would be active, it was still a good number to start with.

During the club fair, I mainly introduced them to sample games of Codenames, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, and A Fake Artist Goes to New York. People had a blast!

And to celebrate International Tabletop Day, I set up an event in a nearby cafe, just to check how many would join and how many were actually interested. I was blown away by the turnout. Pictures of the International Tabletop Day event we had are found here.

During the event, we played The Resistance : Avalon, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Forbidden Desert, Castles of Burgundy, and Libertalia. We had a pretty long table, so the games were concurrent, too!

After the event, I asked people for their feedback. I wasn't surprised that all of them thoroughly enjoyed the Social Bluffing games, but I was very pleased when they said they liked the other games too, and are looking forward to more meatier games in the future.

All in all, I can say the event was a success, and I just want to share with you guys how awesome it is to feel that you made plenty of people happy, as well as bring in new members to this hobby we all have and enjoy!

For our future events, I was planning to have maybe bi-monthly meet ups, board game discussions, to have them sign up in BGG (and hopefully subscribe to this subreddit), and so on. Any suggestions on how to keep this board game love momentum ongoing? Thanks for the support, guys!

TL ; DR Board game club got 46 members, event went successfully, asking for tips on how to keep people interested
