I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve said this (by no fault of yours, obviously), but I’ll pull it out one more time.

Creation began perfect. God, Adam, Eve, the garden, the animals, everything was perfect. However, it was not to last, as Satan tempted Eve into committing the first human sin. From that point forward, the Earth was tainted and humanity was doomed. Plague and disease sprouted from the fall of Adam and Eve, and the world was irreparably corrupted. It was because of mans sin that evil was brought to earth. They made creation imperfect, and that imperfection took its toll. Now weeds would sprout up in their gardens, now diseases would decimate their livestock. For the first time in history, man could die.

It is because of the first sin that sin is in the world today, and it is because of that sin that we need the cleansing blood of Christ alone to redeem us. While it is true, yes, that God, an infinitely powerful and complex diety can work in ways beyond our comprehension , the case of sin and evil is pretty cut and dry.
