Interesting that in US copyright holders contact to your ISP. That would never fly here, but it is distressing to many people receive letter in mail that basically asks you to pay since they know that "this IP address from this "street address" has downloaded plapla and you will have to pay xxxx for the losses it has caused or we will take this to court." Sad thing is that some people actually paid these things. These copyright letters became so common that our ministry banned these letters and contacting the "possible" pirates, because they claimed it's blackmailing. Which it actually sounded as I received few too and few tons of "reminders". But of course I was and still is innocent and it was probably some of my friends who were on my Wifi or something.
