"Interpretation" of the Bible does not seem to follow proper reading comprehension.

I don't think Leviticus was talking about "men lying with men".

I suspect Leviticus was warning against the competitive and "covetous" practice of men Jews encountered in other cultures, where women were perceived as currency and used to create heirs and form sociopolitical alliances and offering no value in the practice of males competing with one another in terms of "sex appeal" and where vying for the affections of young boys who were openly free to choose sexual partners filled the gap. Women could be indicative of superior wealth or business acumen but not of the male's idiotic, sociopolitical, ego-boosting beliefs about superiority in terms of sexual allure.

Despite the idea that men were superior to women in Judaism, there was no such practice in Jewish culture until they met the "mad men" of other cultures where it would have warranted a stern warning.
