INTERVALS // THE SHAPE OF COLOUR Full Album Stream

It's not bad, he is definitely up there as one of the better Prog metal guitarists. The only problem is that the whole album is just wankery with no feel or buildup.

It's going to be difficult for Aaron to take Misha's place as the best Prog metal guitarist out there.

First of all, Aaron is egotistical, selfish, and childish. He kicked out Anup and the other guitarist because he was a total control freak and refused to talk things out.

I knew right off the bat that the drums sucked ass on this album when I listened to it. Aaron made a huge mistake by excluding Him. Poor Anup left skyharbor for a better opportunity in intervals only to be kicked out and downgraded to playing in monuments, one of the more generic prog metal bands.

We can all look up to Misha for his production skills and his chops. His melodies are out of this world, he invented some of the greatest melodies known to man.

Also, instead of kicking out spencer, Jake, Matt, Mark, and Nolly from periphery, he considered their diverse tastes and made it about the band blending different flavors a rather than his own selfish desires. He is humble as fuck, a trait Aaron Marshall doesn't have and a trait he needs if he wants to reach his potential in this game.

Misha also knows how to produce and when to play solos instead of making a solo the entire song. He knows how to write songs and get along with other musicians.

This is the guy who has worked with Guthrie govan, John petrucci, and Jeff Loomis. This is the guy who wrote music for halo 2 anniversary. This is the guy who produced and helped write 2 of the AAL albums.

In my opinion Aaron is childish as fuck. Intervals is a 2 trick pony with its wankery. If Aaron was open minded and kept Anup and the other guitarist, this album would have been at its full potential.
