Interview Discussion - May 17, 2018

You know how people have said that Palantir interviews are harder than Google's? I interviewed at the Seattle office and I feel this wasn't the case at all - all medium level questions and the "decomposition" (design) question given to me was very open-ended and it was actually fun to brainstorm ideas on the whiteboard. Everyone was really nice and I didn't see any of the negatives people here have mentioned, like severely overworked employees and a cultish atmosphere.

The interview did leave me with a sour taste in my mouth because the recruiter called me to tell me I did quite well but there wasn't a role available for me. Either she was trying to let me down easy, a disservice to me, or I should have been rejected during the resume screening and saved me a lot of travel and time.

But! The interview itself was really pleasant. Good luck to you.
