Interview with Loco and Matt in Korean by OP.GG?

Locodoco: Hi I'm Locodoco, head coach of TL from NA LCS. We are here for boot camp, which is why we're in Korea.

Matt: Hi, I'm Piglet's fellow bot lane duo, TL support Matt

Op.gg: Nice to meet you. Gone anywhere special?

Matt: Not yet. Today is a day off so I'm looking forward to going place to place. I hope my coach would come too as a intepretor.

Locodoco: Hm?

Op.gg: Matt, this is your first time introducing yourself to the Korean fans? Can you tell us more about yourself? How did you start?

Matt: I didn't consider being a pro at first. But I worked hard at the game and my rank rose in Solo Q, and I thought I'm prepared to go the next level. All that hard work resulted in mean being a pro.

Op.gg: What happened to your old ID Matlife?

Matt: I think it was around season 3. I was looking to change my summoner name a lot. At the time Faker and Madlife was popular and Madlife in particular was called the best support. So I decided on Matlife and practiced a lot of Thresh and Blitzcracrnk.

Op.gg: Your winrate last spring with Janna is amazing. In the regular season and playoffs you had 6 games with 100% winrate. How do you get good at Janna? Any simple tips?

Matt: Truthfully, Imwas probably the worst Janna at the start(:D). At first I lacked in the understanding of how Janna should work. But I practiced and I found it was not so difficult. Really you don't need anything special. Just stick behind your ADC, use every summoner if necessary to keep your adc safe. And before confrontation better to shut off the opposing champion right? If too close use your ult. Simple right? (:D)

Op.gg: Did you know Locodoco was well know for creating great supports? He was the one renowned for creating the "M" supports (Note: you know like Madlife)(:D)

Matt: Is he? He seems very strict and picky(:D). Unlike any other coach he requests a lot from the players. But we understand its for the growth of the players.

Op.gg: Now it's your turn Loco. Last November, you came to TL as a content creator. What was your role?

Loco: To put it simply, I was in charge of creating LoL content in YouTube. Think of it like UCC. For example, looking at NA roosters and reviewing them. You can see it now under Yoonsup Choi YouTube channel.

Op.gg: Better check it out then. So any special reason for change from content creator to coach?

Loco: Before I came, the Head coach and coach said they were struggling. I guess cultural difference between Koreans as well as communisation problems contributed to that. So team's management put forward this proposal and I'm still here after it worked out.

Op.gg: Last playoffs you lost 2:3 to CLG and ultimately ended 4th. Was there any major disappointments?

Loco: Yes, I was very unsatsified(Blunt). I thought we should have gone to finals and we could have. Looking back seeing mistakes we thought were fixed during practice was regrettable. Through practicing we thought shot calling shouldn't be a issue, but then in game we go for baron to recklessly and give up leads which was again disappointing.

Op.gg: You were bot lane together with Piglet. How is your synergy?

Matt: Bot is different because there are two people. Usually one person leads and other follow. Usually I'm the one used to the leading but since Piglet is so good he initiates and I follow up.

Op.gg: Champions you think fits with both of your style?

Matt: Idk, piglet plays champions he likes and like all Korean adcs prefer ezreal and lucian. I guess I like bare the most.

Op.gg: How about Janna?

Matt: I do have a decent winrate but I don't play her a lot. I play bard more
