Intimidation does not always mean making threats. "Please let me pass" can be an intimidation roll.

We got a badass over here, having thugs threaten to beat the shit out of them in a pub. Did you do what they said? Hey look, threats successfully intimidated you.

Now, to carry on that, have you seen what happens when someone didn't do what a hardcase wanted?

I've seen blokes take a few seconds to size someone up, tell them in an even tone: "Nah. Fuck off." And guess what? Because there wasn't a threat of violence, it didn't work! Of course, being a total bastard, they glassed the vic and that's the follow through.

Intimidation has two important factors to work: 1. You have to be willing to do something harmful to get your way. 2. The other person has to know you're capable of it.

If either are missing, then it's not going to work out.
