I wouldnt say debate. Im not the type to stay silent or just listen when its things im interested in and have knowledge of and most especially when i know theyre wrong. I always need to correct them. However, if im not well versed, i then sit back and gather the information and once im on my own i fact check and do my own research to build my opinion on the topic, then next time i meet them, i let them know of what i think then. But if the debate is already "heated" from the get go or i sense the person im conversing with will take it personally if i disagree, i wont even be involved in the first place.

My ex was an ENTP, he would always fact dump and i would add my ideas to it. If we dont see eye to eye, we have good exchange about it. As much as I appreciate that about him though, there are days he hates my guts and wished i could just agree with some things he said. Lol.
