INTPs who eat well, what does cooking mean to you?

Recently went from cooking twice a year to 1-2 times everyday. It became a chore when I try to balance a reasonable budget and non-repetative meals. The local groceries is not helping with their limited stock.

For health reasons I choose this approach and in 3 weeks I'm feeling the positive effects (wow that sounds like an ad) but it did happen just this week. I assume I'm even more motivated for this by the fact that I use to eat garbage and hadn't the best exercise regime aka none. For many reasons a good diet is beneficial to keeping the body therefore the mind in order, and the degree of laziness I once had isn't there so much anymore.

Anyway, as for the actual cooking I'd need to source a good supplier for my adventurous needs and then get crazy about it. Good food and I mean really good food has always been a thing of mine, you can say I do have a bit of passion for it but as I get busier I have doubts I'd put it a priority over (other) adulting needs.
I don't know what constitute as "good" in cooking. I never actually cooked for others other than myself, and the little times that I do don't offer a substantial feedback (I have weird company) but if the switch is anything to go by, perhaps I'm decent. My food taste like food.
