so i mean this is probably super obvious but i just now finally understand (i think) the meaning of the title “you’re not as ___ as you think”

my interpretation is that you just feel in the blank with whatever you’re insecure about/worried about. you’re not as interesting as you think, you’re not as happy as you think, you’re not as liked as you think.

when i first heard the album/read the title my head automatically put those examples out there because of how i was feeling at the time.

these days i read the title it a more positive light: you’re not as sad as you think, you’re not as annoying as you think, you’re not as boring as you think.

it shows what you doubt about yourself, about what you’re unsure about.

like i said, probably super obvious to everyone else and probably has been pointed out before but i just thought that was so neat and cool!!
